When jamie is the better choice
- you need the same notes on Windows, an iPhone or an Android phone, not only on a Mac
- your requirement is EU data residency with a processing agreement, rather than no external processing at all
- several people share one microphone in a room and you want them told apart — Cachalot separates your mic from the call, not voices within the room
